Mapfable helps you and your own AI work from the same project map. These terms explain the responsibilities and boundaries of using the service.
The service and its operator
Mapfable is operated personally by Michael Choong. These terms apply to the Mapfable website and project workspace. Read these terms and the Privacy Policy before using the service. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
This version is in local development and restricted hosted testing for personal project maps, Markdown sources, tasks, decisions, and connections to your own AI tools. Team collaboration, hosted autonomous execution, and public remote connections are not available yet.
Your account and responsibilities
Use a Google account you are authorized to use, protect your account and connection credentials, and contact us if you discover unauthorized access. You must have the capacity to accept these terms and appropriate authority if acting for an organization.
Do not use the service for unlawful activity, infringement, malicious content, bypassing access restrictions, or disrupting other users or the service. Only upload and share material you are entitled to process. Avoid importing unnecessary sensitive information such as passwords or private keys.
Your content remains yours
You retain your existing rights in projects, Markdown, tasks, decisions, and other submitted content. To provide the features you use, you permit Mapfable to store, process, display, and export this content, and provide it to connected tools within the scope you configure and authorize. This permission is limited to providing, maintaining, and protecting the service; it does not transfer ownership.
Rights in Mapfable’s branding, interface, and software remain with their respective rights holders. Using the service does not automatically grant permission to resell it or use another party’s branding.
AI connections and execution boundaries
A connected AI client may read and write project data within the scope granted to its connection. The current local connection can access the local workspace of its bound account and does not offer per-project authorization. Only provide a connection to clients you trust.
Importing sources does not approve a route. AI drafts, suggestions, and recorded answers still require the confirmations shown in the product. Setting an endpoint records an execution boundary; it does not automatically wake or start an AI. Review routes, generated content, and execution results before adopting them.
AI clients, model services, and other third-party tools operate under their own terms and may charge separately. Mapfable does not promise their availability, output accuracy, or particular project outcomes.
Trials and subscriptions
The subscription page states whether billing is enabled. Sandbox tests do not make real charges; signing in to an environment without billing does not create a paid subscription.
Where trials are enabled, the first successful Google sign-in starts one 7-day trial with no payment card. The trial includes the current personal features, subject to existing file and system limits. For accounts created before trials were enabled, it starts on the first successful sign-in after activation. Signing in again does not restart the trial.
You may actively choose a US$9 monthly or US$85 annual subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically on the selected schedule until you cancel renewal. A trial does not automatically convert to a paid subscription; choosing to subscribe starts the paid period at purchase. Confirm the currency, amount, and any applicable taxes on Stripe’s checkout page before paying.
You may cancel renewal directly on the subscription page without leaving Mapfable. Paid access continues until the end of the current period. Switching between monthly and annual billing during a paid period is not currently supported. Payments are non-refundable, except for refunds or other non-excludable rights required by applicable law.
When trial or paid access expires without renewal, you may still view existing projects and export maps. Creating and editing pause for both the website and connected AI tools. Expiry alone does not delete projects.
Stripe processes payments and payment records. A successful redirect does not activate a subscription: access depends on payment and subscription status verified by the server. Accounts explicitly granted personal-use access may use the service without charge; this does not grant access to other accounts or their projects.
Availability, backups, and ending use
This version is still being developed. Maintenance, connection failures, or changes to third-party services may affect use. Mapfable does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, or a particular business or development outcome. Keep important original sources and use the map Markdown download to retain a copy of your route.
You may stop using the service at any time. Signing out does not delete projects; email us to request account or data deletion. Access may be restricted for security reasons, unlawful activity, or serious violations of these terms. Where practical and legally permitted, we will explain the reason and how to contact us about it.
Your rights and changes to these terms
These terms do not exclude or limit consumer rights, liabilities, or remedies that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
When the service or its rules change, we will update this page’s date. Important changes affecting accounts, data use, or payments will be explained before the relevant feature is used, with consent requested where needed. The Chinese and English versions aim to express the same meaning; contact us about any ambiguity or dispute.
